Let the eating begin!

Finally! James has had his first taste of "food" - and, surprise, surprise... he loved it! The little guy had been eyeing our food and eating way too many times during the day, so we thought, hmm... maybe it's time. We think he was relieved. It seemed like he knew exactly what to do. Here are some shots of the first food... and so we embark upon a new adventure!

All done! I was told he may eat a few bites then decide he was done - not this kid... he ate it all. He's taking after his Daddy who was lovingly referred to as the "Eatin' Machine" when he was just a little tike.


Whew. I'm full and I'm happy!


And just a few more pictures of James doing one of his favorite things... the Exer-Saucer! I wish you all could hear him babble and giggle as he plays with the toys - so cute!

Baby yawns are maybe the most precious thing ever.







And he loves to chomp and chew on the toys... he's actually "growled" a few times. Hilarious.

    Carter TOTALLY growls at his toys. He went though a few days where he would yell at them and I actually would take them away because clearly he and the toy were in a fight! Glad he ate so well. We need to post some pictures of Carter eating - he on the other hand was not too sure! James is such a doll!

    WOW he is growing waaaay too fast! We are so looking forward to seeing him and spending time with him the next two weeks. (And you and Reid as well!)
