I'm including LOTS of pictures for you all to see - from oldest to most recent. Enjoy!

My first Mother's Day!

James and Daddy

James and Daddy...his first time in the carrier. I think he likes it!

Yes, our son is amazing. He's only about 4 weeks here - and look at him holding up his head! He's a genius!

This is our little guy contemplating the complexities of life...okay - he's starring at some frames on a wall.

Reid and James - Daddy loves feeding the little man - and the little man likes to eat!

Okay, you can't really tell - and this is not the best picture - but James is sporting a mohawk here. It's one of our favorite hair styles for him. Come on...you have to admit you would love trying out different styles on that head full of hair too!

We had some special visitors recently! James got to meet some of his Great Grandparents! Reid's grandparents - Popper and Grandma, were in SLC for a few days. They got to spend some time with our little guy. As you can see, James was pretty intrigued by Popper - which is understandable - he's an awesome guy! Thanks for visiting Great Grandma and Great Popper!

James and Grandma Phelps...aka "Mimmi"

James and Blaze... It took Blaze a few days to get use to this little guy and he's just now acting like he's interested in him. Kaya's doing pretty well with him - but she won't sit still long enough to get a picture.

James had his first bath - finally! It took a while for his cord to fall off...don't worry, we'd given him a couple sponge baths. He did a great job - he seemed to like it and was very calm and alert - until we washed his hair. He wasn't a fan of that. As you can see, he was a little dazed when it was all said and done.

Again with the hair...it's kind of hard to tell again, but our little guy has the start of a mullet. That's right. No, we won't cut it, because his crazy hair is way too cute.

He was supposed to be doing some tummy time...but it was way too much work and this was way more comfy.

Surprisingly, this picture is not about me and my ability to make attractive faces - this is all about baby James - isn't he so cute?! He's very snugly and super adorable.

This is the cute face he makes when he's curious about something or he's just experienced something new. His eyes open wide and he makes this little "o" with his mouth. The world is so new to him - it's a great reminder that we should be amazed by our surroundings!

This picture just cracks me up - he totally looks like he's posing. Watch out world - here he comes.

I decided to introduce James to the world of "self-take" photography...Reid and I are good at it, so it's important that he know how it works. I think we did pretty well for the first try!

A James Smile! We just caught the end of this one...pretty cute, isn't he?
Oh my goodness...he just keeps getting cuter and cuter! I'm back from DC so let me know if you need a mommy daddy date :)
